*Vulnerable Post Alert* - Truth, I was just going to post this picture (seen to the left), then when I started writing, it just started flowing, so I'm going with it.

Love the temple you're in๐Ÿ’ž, and it's easier said than done at times.

After all the talk about JLo & Shakira, it got me thinking, what was it really that was getting everyone so fired up. Our triggers are a reflection of something going on deeper inside of us that is unresolved. These triggers can be a beautiful pathway or gateway to freedom, or a breakthrough (or even multiple;))!

So, if you felt triggered, ask yourself, what is it within me that felt triggered? Could it be some hard wired conditioning? Society? Lack of your own self love?

Because language matters, for many of my teen and even into my adult years, I struggled with body image. It was more around the fact I never fit into "off the rack" clothing because my body wasn't 'typical.' The pants or jeans were never long enough, I always looked like I was preparing for a flood. I was swimmer growing up, so my broad shoulders and flat chest was a dream for the pool, and not so much for clothing. I would always wear coats to cover my body or clothes because I didn't feel comfortable in my own skin let alone clothes that just never seemed to fit "right." My friends from middle school and high school can confirm this. Anyway, I never felt comfortable in my own skin, and it was because I didn't love myself. I didn't appreciate what I did have. I was always comparing myself to my friends, using them and their looks as a guidepost. You guys this went on FOR MANY YEARS... Way more years then I care to admit. AND, I realize now, the importance of loving your body as you are. It's through that love, where the clothes start to fit better, the feelings of being trapped dissipate, and the freedom to own it all, emerges.

So what does this have to do with JLo & Shakira? It's my hallucination, that we as women view dancing erotically & with a pole as being a stripper (no judgement to strippers). AND, it's my hallucination that [we] as a society have created so much tension around what's considered ladylike or being true to our feminine, flowing core, that unknowingly, we have created an even larger disconnect between masculine & feminine energies that is affecting millions of relationships today. Please men, can you tell me, you didn't like the show on Sunday night?

Now, I'm not saying we all should go around dressed in lingerie, and shake our boo-tay wherever we go; AND I'm not saying we shouldn't either. What I am saying, is there's a lot that can be said for women standing in their feminine essence, owning, and loving their bodies. I'm going to leave this here as I could go on for hours on this topic, and will be discussing more publically very soon!

I think we can all agree that JLo & Shakira owned it all Sunday night. It's evident they loved their bodies, felt good in their skin, and were embodying a beautiful expression of themselves. It was empowering/inspiring for me to see two beautiful women truly own it, love it, and have some fun workin' it!

So, I'll leave you with this question: How might you feel if you loved it all? And owned the beautiful bodies, and temple that God/Spirit/Universe/Source Energy gave you?

Thank you!
